Animal communion

with tropical biologist Ifigenia Garita Canet
Wimblu's podcast engages in conversations with natural science professionals to explore the intersections between science, philosophy, art, spirituality, and more.
In this interview we speak with tropical biologist Ifigenia Garita Canet. Ifigenia's work is situated at the intersections of biology, tourism and community work to promote conservation in Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula, one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth.

Reflecting on the organization of animal societies and multispecies alliances in the rainforest, Ifigenia turns our attention to the collective and collaborative intelligence of nature, and invites us to revalue the sensibility of our own animal bodies in order to reconnect with the community of life and work for a common good.
